St Mary’s College &
Lisneal College, Ebrington PS, Holy Child PS

This proposal involves three strands.  St Mary’s would run shared science classes for pupils from two local primary schools, one Catholic and one Controlled. The two primary schools are the local feeders for St Mary’s and Lisneal College, this would provide a basis for future collaboration at the post-primary level, as planned in strand 2.

Strand 2 would see Shared classes with Lisneal College in the delivery of Learning for Life and Work, for Years 8 to 10, with shared classes on a weekly basis.  This will provide pupils with the opportunity to discuss issues of citizenship and identity.

Strand 3 involves St Mary’s Saturday school providing a variety of additional courses. This is currently accessed by pupils from Lisneal College and the proposal is to strengthen this by increasing the proportion of pupils participating from the partner school.
