Pupils from SEP schools share the stage in a joint drama production. Limavady High School hosted three showings of an an original drama last week that dealt directly with issues of identity, loyalty and reconcilliation. The Hiring Fair is a musical drama set in 1920's Strabane, at a time when the boarder was being drawn to define the new Northern Ireland. The action focuses on the lives of two sisters who travel from Donegal looking for work at the fair, and shows the complications surrounding them and the families that hire them during this turbulent period. The play uses music, comedy, drama and dance to deal with issues from Ireland's past that are still relevant today. Pupils from Limavady High School, Limavady Grammar School and St Mary's High School were involved in the play.
