The Fermanagh Trust Shared Education Programme develops linkages between schools from different sectors and builds bridges between the two main communities creating the potential for future joint working, sharing and collaborating in education.
The Primary Integrating/Enriching Education Project (PIEE) is a three year project beginning in September 2009 funded by the International Fund for Ireland and managed by the NEELB and subsequently ESA.
The Sharing Education Programme encourages schools to make cross-sectoral collaborations an integral part of school life, creating enhanced educational and personal development opportunities for everyone involved. The SEP has involved over 100 schools at Post-Primary and Primary level in cross-sectoral collaboration concentrating on substantive, curriculum based activities.
