Sharing Pasts, Shaping Futures

The focus of this partnership was the creation of a drama production company within the GCSE Drama curriculum, between the two schools. Productions were shaped using ICT to support virtual sessions and on-site workshops throughout the year.

At the end of the first year a DVD was produced featuring pupil presentations on the themes of reconciling identities, looking collaboratively at school, family and social backgrounds. As the project progressed performances were edited into a short film to be screened in local cinemas. Eventually by the end of the project all the pupils that participated, had worked together on producing a theatrical production.
